Just as work on some improvements to the Park come to an end more work is due to start in the next few months.  Our bid to WREN (funding associated with the Pwllfawatkin landfill in Cwmgors) was successful.  This money means that we can install new, exciting and modern play equipment in the park - equipment that you would normally only see in large towns and cities.  All this has come about through the hard work of the Park Steering Committee with the help and guidance of Alan and Huw in Menter Cwm Gwendraeth, Carmarthenshire County Council and of course WREN who gave us the money.
