This walk is good for a quick stroll - you should finish it in an hour. You’ll need some decent boots if it’s been raining as it has a few muddy patches.
Park on the way out of Blaenau towards Llandybie. Walk about 500m along the wide footpath towards Llandybie and then turn left at the footpath sign.
Follow the wide track
either straight round (about a km) or, for a bit more interest, turn right after around 300m up an equally wide grassy track.
After around 150m turn left through a bit of woodland
Turn right after the woodland & walk along the hedge for 200m, then over the style.
Bear left through some woodland then follow the hedge on the right hand side as it curves left for around 250m until it reaches the wide track again. There are some nice views from up here.
Follow the track - it’s been covered in woodchip at this point. Ignore the 2 rights of way on the right, unless you have some good loppers and stout clothing as they are blocked at the moment.
Turn left when you reach the road, then left again onto Llandybie Rd. Go through Caerbryn & Blaenau back to the start.
