I just want to say how much better the banner looks. Thanks to those who took the time to take the photographs and do the technical stuff to make the changes.

Emlyn Development Planning Applications
I’ve been asked to publish the links to the 5 planning applications submitted by Protex. If you have an opinion on these applications, it’s important that you let the Council know. It’ll be too late once the applications are passed. If you need any help, call in to see me in Neuadd Goffa.
The first (E/16741) relates to moving the entrance to the Emlyn site 50m nearer to the Gorsddu Rd. junction - through the recently-built community garden.
The second (E/16742) relates to amendments to the “Phase 1″ planning application already passed, plus a new application for part of “phase 2″
The 3rd (E/16743) relates to an outline application for moving the rugby club and providing a new youth centre sometime in the future.
The 4th & 5th (E/16744 & E/16745) relate to adding another 3 years onto the time limit for developing parts of the site.

I really enjoy checking the website and reading about all the things that are going on. I would like to suggest a couple of tweaks!
I don’t think the banner really depicts Penygroes, I think a few local photographs would be better.
Finally, being a blogging virgin it’s taken me a while to work out how to post a message. Could you add some basic instructions on how to register etc on the home page.

Hello! I am Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Ciaran Ryan 8035, and I am responsible for Neighbourhood Policing issues in Penygroes. I thought I would post to introduce myself and explain a little about what my role is. I work out of Cross Hands Police Station and form part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team for the Upper Gwendraeth valley, along with my colleagues PCSO Peter Williams and PC 312 Wyn Davies. Neighbourhood Policing is the police services commitment to improving your quality of life by working together with partners, and targeting the issues that you identify as those that matter.
To achieve this I am keen to forge links with and hear the opinions of all community groups and individuals on any concerns or problems they may be experiencing in the area. You will see a lot more of me over the coming months (whether you like it or not!) on foot patrol or at local events. If you have any quality of life issues in the Penygroes area or require confidential advice please do not hesitate to get in touch with me (contact details below) or stop me while I’m on foot patrol and have a chat, that is what I am here for. Also, if you require us to attend at an event and give advice on Community Safety or just provide a presence, get in touch. I look forward to meeting you all and helping to make Penygroes a safer place to live and work.
