A Strawberry Tea event was held in Neuadd Goffa on Saturday afternoon.  Over 60 people enjoyed the strawberries, cream, meringues and chocolate.  There was a cake stall, a bric-a-brac stall and plant stall.

The strawberry & marshmallow kebabs covered in chocolate went down well, although it was hard to eat them without getting chocolate on your nose.

The plants for the community garden in front of Penygroes library arrived on Wednesday.  It was then all-hands-on-deck by members of Penygroes Gardening Club (and John, who called to see how it was going and stopped to help).  They had been planted out by the end of the day - ably directed by Julian, who’s been the driving force behind the garden from the beginning.
