If it rains prize giving and activities will be held in village hall

All are welcome so let’s make it a special day for Caerbryn, Blaenau and Penygroes.  Programs are being delivered door-to-door

The flowershow was well attended on a miserable Summer’s Saturday but the quality of entries was of a high standard nonetheless.

Although many of the winning categories were dominated by the ‘Kelly’ family (they didn’t know the judges - honest) that doesn’t mean the other entries were any less impressive.

The hanging baskets displays were particularly beautiful despite the awful weather; although the number of baskets and pots this year was lower than in previous years.

Prizes were awarded for all the winning entrants; images to follow…

This was the fourth games evening held at Penygroes Memorial Hall and just as successful as previous events.

Although this time it was predominately under 10’s that attended, it was just as pleasant to see them enjoying themselves.

As usual the most popular games were Bowls and Tippett but all the games were played.
