This easy walk takes about an hour and a half at a leisurely pace. There are some nice views and plenty of fields and woodland, with lots of wild plants & flowers.

Start on Waterloo Rd. next to Penybont Farm (Walk 13).  The path goes between David’s Way and Clos y Cwm, then over Nant Wrach.
It passes between un-cultivated fields - a joy if you like wild flowers.

Then out onto Black Lion Rd.  Turn right for 100m, you reach Walk 10.

This walk seems to have a lot of history attached - by the enclosed areas and wide old tracks.  I’ll have to do some research & update this when I’ve found out.  Along the track, you reach Walk 9. Turn left and after a couple of hundred metres, bear left (the right fork is Walk 11).  This bit is a bit muddy.

When you reach an open field, aim for the opposite corner on the right.  If you go to the left, you’ll get to some ancient woodland.
There’s a gate onto Waterloo Terrace at the end of the field.  Turn left along the footpath at the side of Waterloo Rd. & back to the start at Penybont farm.
